UthJa Alarm — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 September 2026

UthJa Alarm ("the app") is an alarm clock for Android published by Kishor Sarkar ("we"). The short version: the app has no accounts, we don't collect your name, email address or any identifier, we show no ads, we use no analytics, and we never sell data.

Information that stays on your phone

These are stored only on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else:

Your alarm settings, message and mission choices
Your wake-up streak and statistics
The reference photo for the photo mission and any wallpaper photo you choose
Motion and step-counter readings used for the shake and steps missions
Which link you installed from. The app asks Google Play for this once, on first launch

Information that leaves your phone

All data sent by the app is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). See Google's Privacy Policy.

Creator dashboard (creators only)

If you're a creator we work with, you can sign in to the creator dashboard on this website with Google to see how your link is doing. For that we keep your name, email address and Google account ID in Google Firebase Authentication, together with your creator code and the commission we agreed. This is used only to show you your own numbers and to pay you. App users never sign in and never appear here. To have your creator account removed, email us.

Permissions the app uses

Alarms & reminders, notifications, full-screen alerts, run in foreground, wake lock, vibrate: to ring on time, over the lock screen, until the mission is finished.
Start at boot: to re-arm your alarm after the phone restarts.
Display over other apps: to bring the alarm screen back if you leave it before finishing the mission.
Physical activity: for the steps mission. Readings stay on the phone.
Camera (through your camera app): for the photo mission. Photos stay on the phone.
Internet: to check coupons and to talk to Google Play for purchases.

Deleting your data

Everything the app stores is on your phone, and uninstalling the app deletes it. We hold no account or personal data to delete. Your Google Play purchase record is kept by Google under its own policies, which is how your lifetime unlock comes back when you reinstall.

Children

UthJa Alarm is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
